Los Angeles police are investigating the discovery of a decomposing female body found in the trunk of a Tesla registered to singer D4vd. The vehicle, one of several owned by the musician, had been towed from a Hollywood street two days prior to the grim discovery. Police responded to an impound lot on Monday, alerted by a foul odor emanating from the car.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed the body was located in the front trunk of the Tesla and was in an advanced state of decomposition. A senior LAPD source identified the vehicle's registered owner as 20-year-old David Anthony Burke, known professionally as D4vd. The source clarified that multiple individuals frequently use D4vd's vehicles.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office confirmed the victim was female but, due to the significant decomposition, could not immediately determine her age, race, or ethnicity. However, they provided a detailed description: approximately 5-foot-1 with wavy black hair, wearing a tube top, black leggings, a yellow metal bracelet, metal stud earrings, and a tattoo on her right index finger reading "Shhh...".
The investigation is in its early stages, and the victim's death is currently being treated as a homicide. Determining the cause of death will require further examination by the medical examiner, a process that could take several days. Investigators intend to interview D4vd, along with anyone else potentially connected to the case. The timeline suggests the victim may have been deceased for a considerable period before discovery.
D4vd, who rose to fame on TikTok and released his debut album in April, is currently on tour. He is scheduled to perform in Minneapolis on Tuesday and will have a Los Angeles show on September 20th. ABC News has reached out to his representative for comment but is yet to receive a response. This complex case continues to unfold, with authorities working diligently to uncover the truth behind this tragic event.
