While these enhancements significantly improve the free tier, it's important to note that limitations on daily on-demand listening time and the exclusion of queuing remain. These restrictions differentiate the free experience from the Premium tier. This strategic move follows Spotify's recent Premium upgrades, including a playlist mixing tool and lossless audio, which strengthen the value proposition of paid subscription.
