The FSE bypasses the full Windows boot process, directly launching into the Xbox app. This streamlined approach dedicates more system resources to the game, resulting in optimized performance and improved gameplay.
While the Legion Go Gen 2, priced between $1,099 and $1,479 depending on configuration, won't launch with the FSE, Lenovo spokesperson Jeff Witt assures users of its future integration. Once available, gamers can seamlessly switch between the standard Windows mode and the optimized Xbox FSE, maximizing performance based on their preferences.
This announcement arrives alongside Microsoft's Handheld Compatibility Program, a significant initiative designed to enhance the gaming experience on compatible handheld devices.
